The 8th Athens Djangofest Athens Gypsy Jazz Festival is coming again

at Technopolis City of Athens on 16th & 17th of September!

The well-established gypsy jazz festival returns to the center of Athens along with the Meet Market for a two-day event dedicated to the legendary Django Reinhardt’s music that dominated Europe in the 1930s and 1940s .

Djangofest is not only a concert but one of the biggest festivals in Athens, with many concurrent activities.

This year, besides the bands from Greece and abroad, besides the partnership with the meet market, which confirms its festive character, there will be open workshops for dance and music, dance shows, luthiers’ exhibition and activities for children, all with free entrance!

The Djangofest gypsy jazz festival in Greece is an initiative of musicians who are involved with gypsy jazz music and their friends. As a self-organized event, it takes place with the action of the musicians and volunteers involved, with the support of Plenty projects.
